I replaced my stockers with the Bosch Icons. Pretty good. I'll try the Silblades next though, as I loved the silicon PIAAs that I've had before on other vehicles. They're probably similar.

The SilBlades arrived yesterday, so they took 1 week to arrive. They are similar, but not identical in look to the LR ones - the whole assembly is bigger and feels stronger and they're a bit heavier as well. Will try putting them on later.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

SilBlade 22" FlexBlade Silicone Wiper Blade For LR3 and RRS (FB122) $22
The SilBlade 22" FlexBlade Silicone Wiper Blade for LR3 and RRS is a direct, drop-in replacement for the front factory wiper blades on the Land Rover LR3 and Range Rover Sport. Because of the frameless design, the FlexBlades provide all-weather performance. Sold individually.
Just wondering if anyone has replaced their front wipers with this or something similar and can comment on the useability in snowstorms? My LR wiper frames get completely choked with ice and refuse to wipe properly while driving in a snowstorm. (Often it's too dangerous to get out and clear because of other crazy drivers on the road. )
The LR wiper frames also get completely frozen up while parked in a snowstorm and there's no way to stand them up away from the windshield/windscreen, AFAIK.

Many on here have bought the Valeo UM 665 from speeding.co.uk
If you do a search you will find that everyone who bought them has been well pleased with them.

I bought the Silblades from Expedition Exchange in America. They will ship to the UK no problem, I waited about 1 week. They work really well in all conditions and are silent. There is no frame to freeze so in winter they stay in contact with the windscreen. I also bought a similar frameless silicon blade for the rear screen from e-bay as Expedition Exchange did not do one that size.

Just received my Valeo blades as I could not cope with the dreaded noise anymore.
I will let you know what I find, but to be honest wiper without rubber would be better than the way mine have been from day one.
makes me not want to go out in the wet
Cheers.

LOL, cleaning off the vehicle after nearly 1' snowstorm, discovered that my dealer had stealth upgraded (at no cost) my front wipers to SilBlades last time it was in (when I had the MTRs mounted) - without me even asking!

At last a wiper with ZERO noise.
For the love of god do not fit anything other than these FANTASTIC blades by Valeo.
I fitted mine this morning gave them a good test and I quite honestly cannot hear a thing, no judder, no squeak, scrape, whine, nothing.
Thankyou wiper gods for making something that works first time.
Cheers.
