Non-Landrover on snow
following a link from another vid I found this of a toyota on snow stopping (sort of until it slid)

I was in similar situation with a peugeot 406.
Car didnt move to the front. With hand brake on it started to slide down (quite a long way down) backwards.
I managed to get out and throw a stone behind the wheel before it really started sliding.
Put on chains and got away without damage.
Since then, I always carry chains during winter.Some people get by

Parked my D3 on the drive last night in the snow, looked out 30 mins later to see it half way across the road
