Which one of the HIDS4u LED kits did you use? Were they these?

I'd like to do the same to mine. Was the wiring straightforwrard?

I used the kit from the group buy Here

Only three wires, one to each battery terminal and one to the side light feed on the back of the headlamp [orange and red on the o/s or red and black on the nearside]

First hole cut Shocked

Hole cut at an angle so lamp would sit level and top part scored and bent up to create a ledge to glue too.

Mounting pins tied to bottom of bumper using small cable ties

Ledge created earlier now filled with hot glue

One side finished just repeat on other side

As the LR oem ones use a cowl on the outside of the bumper the mount they use screw through the bumper and then conceals them with the cowl. I'm sure there are other ways to mount but i had glue and ties to hand Shocked

Id be interested to know if you experience an increase in 'near misses' after fitting these? My wife's car has bright DRL's and I notice they are really good at disguising pedestrians and motorcyclists from other road users. I suspect we'll see a big increase in accidents when everyone has them?
Shocked
