NEW BRITPART STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE HOSES ,HELP PLEASE

Dear Friends,

As is about time to change my Disco 3 brake hoses I am thinking for an upgrade to aftermarket stainless steel.
After a small search in the web I discovered that Goodridge does not make a set for the Disco and in an oldest topic some members did change them , with HEL ones that give you also a color option.

A new search shows a new model from BRITPART with code DA7561.

https://www.britpart.com/parts/performance...-3/da7561/

There are also these in the market but Teflon is not inserted in stainless steel tubes!

My questions are:
Does anybody knows who makes them ?
Has anybody already put them in his car and what is his opinion ?
Are colored HEL ones only Teflon or colored stainless steel?
Is anybody capable to compare and provide recommendation although pricing wise, the second is more affordable ?

Thank you all in Advance

Yiannis

Might be a silly question, but what's wrong with copper?

I think the OP is talking about the braided hoses at the caliper

So he is...my (obvious) mistake.
I was thinking of the thread the other day where someone mentioned getting stainless lines front to rear.

Personally can't see the hose being replaced with braided making much difference to standard, but each to their own. Smile

Dear friends

Good morning

Thanks for your replies. Yes I was talking about the final rubber part that goes to the caliper.
I had changed them long ago to another 4wd vehicle I have and the improvement was very noticeable.
The stainless steel if are genuine never rust or corrode.
So now I have to decide which brand should I put, thanks again for the option you gave me about EARL brand , I was not aware they are out in the market.
I think I will mail or call them all to see who provides the best warrantee and see which are really the best for Disco 3. Any input from anyone who had already used any brands of the above will be really very helpful.

I wish all a great Sunday 8)

They contain the pressure reducing the ballooning of the hoses so it goes into the calipers where it is wanted. A well known upgrade on motor bikes which improves performance of the brakes.

Thanks for the input.

Keep looking and found also these:

So 4 candidate brands so far : BRITPART. Hel, Earl, and CP Racetec.

Cheers

Yiannis Smile

I can tell the advantage of them on bikes without servo assistance (mostly reducing lever travel - I have them on 2 of my bikes) but for servo assisted car brakes I've never seen there to be a need.
I do wonder if a lot of people mistake the freshly bled, new brake fluid as the improvement.
