Not a good start.

I’ve not even collected it yet and it’s broken, but I suppose that’s better than it being broken afterwards.

I was supposed to be collecting my (new to me) 55 plate HSE D3 tomorrow lunchtime, but had a call this afternoon to say it won’t be ready.

When I test drove the car it had a parking brake fault light on the dash, but the garage obviously were going to fix it before I collected it on Saturday.

They’ve swapped in a new parking brake unit, but this brand new unit has been supplied with a fault, Land Rover are going to try to get a new one out to them Tuesday but they are in short supply.

To be fair they have been very good about it, and it’s probably costing them more than they thought to repair.

Looks like I’ll be waiting a few more days though.

As per other post Wink Censored - so sorry to hear that Nasher - it seems that the parking brake is a common fault Sad

word of advice - as its an HSE I assume its an auto - once its fixed - don't use it (unless on a steep hill) - then it'll be reet (as both of mine have been over 4+ years) Thumbs Up

Mmmm, my drive is a steep hill Sad

Am I really faced with the prospect of leaving a couple of blocks of wood on the drive to park up against?
