its more down to living in a nanny state and potentially hurting the little scrott's ears while he legs it with your stuff.

Some countries use the horn, others (UK) use the battery backed up sounder - or cooker timer alarm is more like.

Just wondering if unplugging the egg-timer whilst the battery is disconnected would cause it to fallback to the horn as the alarm?
to late in the day now to try it (blue stuff made a suprise appearance about 1530 Wink ) looks like a bit of experimentation on Wednesday is on the cards.. 8)

Blue stuff TFC???????

As far as I can see on the GTR electrical diagrams for the alarm the horns are connected to the CJB and there seems to be a wire going from the alarm sounder box to the horn relay.

It must be a dealer activate thing.

TFC I got a copy of the electrical diagram see if you can make more sense out of it.

Looking for a louder horn to scare old ladies with and for when the 'car alarm' goes off.

Anybody tried a Stebel Nautilus Twin Tone Air Horn as a replacement ? About £25 in UK.

got mine off flea bay for £13.51 Thumbs Up

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/STEBEL-NAUTILUS-TWIN...7C294%3A50

loads of fun for 17 quid,

relatively easy to fit, needs a relay controlled power supply, and comes with a tube attachment if you intend wading, so water wont ingress the unit

again DJ , top headsup

So is there a way to 'connect it' to the horns instead ? Or is this a black ops project that requires test book and a friendly dealer ?

Just disconnect the connector on the alarm sounder unit, it then defaults to using the horn. There was a post on here a while back about it.
