?notify insurer about rack&ladder |
|
Just wondering if having an expo rack and ladder constitutes a reason to notify my insurer?
I'm with NFU mutual and I know my policy already covers my trailer upto £1000
Having the rack & ladder fitted tomorrow but could turn out to be V. Expensive as SWmbo wants to try a Freelander 2 ....doh! 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

I would tell the insurer. It is very unlikely they would make a change to the premium, but at least if you tell them and your vehicle gets stolen, you can claim for the cost of these as well as the vehicle. Matt

Would be good to see how it's coming along since you took delivery.
Did you manage to get the light guards fitted ok ..
[must say, I left mine to the dealer to fit] ? I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
