?notify insurer about rack&ladder

Just wondering if having an expo rack and ladder constitutes a reason to notify my insurer?

I'm with NFU mutual and I know my policy already covers my trailer upto £1000

Having the rack & ladder fitted tomorrow but could turn out to be V. Expensive as SWmbo wants to try a Freelander 2 ....doh! Big Cry

I would tell the insurer. It is very unlikely they would make a change to the premium, but at least if you tell them and your vehicle gets stolen, you can claim for the cost of these as well as the vehicle.
