Once had a manual which would get 40mpg at a constant 60mph if I didn't hit any traffic. Wish I could get that out of my auto which averages 27/28 in normal use

Now: Jetta 2.0 TDi DSG, D3 auto gold.

Doing same as Discotres, use the iPhone app for actual litres used and miles covered. Mines remapped and manual and runs at 28.9 mpg as average doin 80 on motorways with 25% of driving through towns
