Occasional sinking suspension |
|
Hi all, thought I had got to the bottom of the suspension problems, but it’s sunk completely twice in a week. What would cause it to sink evenly all the way round just occasionally?
Cheers

I assume it doesnt sink if you pull the fuse and leave it for a few days? Plug it in and see if there are any codes. Also check the voltage to and from all the height sensors. I had an issue where the back of the car would sink when i unlocked it. Got in and suspension behaved normally ie, raised and lowered with no issues. Turns out I had snapped a height sensor in half 1995 Discovery 1 300TDI

What did you find code wise?
What did you replace?
I would suspect (in this order..)
1. Leaking tank (it only takes a pinhole)
2. Valve Block leak/defect in the seals
3. Height sensor fault/calibration issue 1 TR6 Rusting away quietly
