Driving in to work today the D3 has begun to make a strange sucking sound. it appears only when off the throttle and about 40mph. It different to the normal wind down of the transmission and tyres, and sounds similar to blowing across a empty bottle.
The noise appear to emanate from the front somewhere, and is instantaneous in response to on and off the throttle.
I have no idea, everything seems normal at idle, and brakes and or steering action have no effect.
any ideas
