| Odd pinging sound from the instrument cluster? |

Perhaps one of you could help my dealer source the problem I am experiencing.
After starting the car up, the first initial acceleration causes a pinging sound from inside the dash. it appears to be behind the instrument cluster.
This is a short lived rather mechanical sounding pinging. I suspect a solenoid or relay is firing half a dozen times or so, but can't determine what solenoid or system would be doing this. The pinging is rapid, and short lived. Very difficult to trace because it does not last long.
it is very repeatable, and always occurs upon first acceleration (car in gear). it does not seem to do this just sitting and revving it in the parking lot.
My LR3 has been in for two weeks now, and I've love to have her back!
