Now I'm jealous as Censored !

I used to go to Scotland on our holiday every year with my parents when young. Dad was a keen fisher and I remember the Spey, Feshie and Loch Insh very well. Didn't have a D3 then! And can't remember we ever hooked a fish that size Exclamation

Love the photo's and the area. Where about is the photo taken? Is that near Feshiebridge / Lagganlia?

Regards, Paul

Now Feshiebridge is another world, not the best for fishing, but just a beautiful place to be. (Our) stretch of the Spey lies between Aviemore and Boat O' Garten. Its very private, which makes it more attractive, because you dont see anyone. The offroading is brilliant and challenging as you can see, but if you didnt have a 4x4 it would be a long and difficult walk for the fishing. There is a sign above the fishing lodge door that says..
" If there is a heaven on earth, this is it, this is it". Never a truer word was spoken!

The fish by the way weighed 10lbs, was lovinging fondled???? and carefully replaced back in the Spey, for another day (hopefully)

There weren't many D3's on the riverbank on Wednesday, so I guess that must of been me!

Loads and loads of FFRRs around here (Grantown on Spey) at the mo, you can tell the fisher dudes from the rod carrying attachments on the bonnet. Not too many strange D3s though but a nice black D4 with dog cage& leads parked up where we walk our dogs.
