| Oil patches = Cracked sump?!!! |

Hello all,
I noticed oil patches under my new car, with 600 miles on the clock. Took it to nearest dealer (200km away) and they said "some bolts on the sump were loose from the factory". So they tighten it up and I go home. I see new oil patches and head back to dealer.
This time, after a week, he says "sump had been over tightened from factory and hence developed a crack". After exchanging a few words, he tells me new parts have been ordered and wil be here in 2 weeks and car is ok to drive till then.
This sounds like absolute  to me.
What do you lot think - anyone ever heard of something like this before?

That's what I thought it was but the dealer insists it's from the sump......I'll let him have another go then see what happens.
