OK - Where have Land Rover Hidden the Smoke Alarm?

Tidying up the car's boot last night and every now again, I could hear a chirping sound, identical to the one given off by a smoke alarm when the battery is on the way out.

I've never heard this noise from the car before. I know the interior alarm makes an irregular, high-pitched beeping noise that you can hear if you sit in the car with everything turned off and no key in the ignition but this is a totally different sound and is regular too, like about every couple of minutes or so and, like I say, is just like a smoke alarm battery dying sound.

I've just LED interior lights to the car - could they have done something to upset it?

Ideas anyone?

Sorry couldn't resist nor can I help asking if you've been transporting a smoke alarm and forgot to take it out of the glove box Laughing

Can't say I've ever heard of that before though, good luck finding it.

I'm sure there's a little bird on here that will know *chirp* Laughing

Both NJF (RRS tdv8) and I (D4) have found the our vehicles chirp - but that's out side and comes for the alarm - reason, unkown, but it's been there from new and isn't a regular occurance.
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
