My 'old' D3, coming to Yeovil!

Got a call out of the blue at the weekend from the chap who currently owns my old D3. He lives near Yeovil and isn't a member on here...yet!

Seems the xenons that I fitted which were LHD units (purchased from Cliff H in 2006) were an MOT failure due to the beam pattern not being correct. Confused Embarassed

To cut a long story short, I have sent him the original halogen units which I still had in the garage and suggested that he registers on here and makes friends with TLO and all you crazy Yeovil bunch. Thumbs Up

He can also see a picture in my gallery of his car covered in pig sh*t! Laughing

Tell him not to bin those xenons. There's always a market for LHD ones on here - must get half a dozen requests a year and that's without advertising them in the Francophone etc. sections
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Yep, numbers off the headlamps were an adaptive LHD and a non adaptive LHD so a real mixup

Seemed ok to me. Better than the halogens that were on before anyway!

Strange then that there was no cornering light in either of them if one was adaptive. Confused
