And bought a crappy old 5 litre petrol - put 2 stroke oil in it and see if it makes a difference.

mileage ... No difference.

This was my experience too - I stopped using it when it started to run a little lumpy from cold - once I stopped using it that issue went away.

There is no such thing as better quality fuel in Australia when it cones to diesel. It now all practically comes from the same place and is sold and branded by all the various oil company's as their own.

If you live down South you can buy winter diesel and that already has oil in it.

Come on Garry fess up, your just envious that you don't have a smooth, quick, very quiet and as an added bonus reasonably frugal V8 D4. Must be terrible to be stuck with a rattly, slow, noisy and just as hungry fuel wise old silver Rangie Sport. ... Wink

Don't worry I'll let you have a drive of it if you promise to stop sulking.

cheers,
Terry

Terry come and speak to me when you get 6.5l/100km over 450km in your gas guzzling stainless steel fridge on four wheels. 8)

You need a more rrSPORTy model. Laughing

If you are so worried about fuel bills then maybe you should buy a diesel VW Golf. Think I'll stick with the V8.
