Easier to look at the gory details
By default, if you add pictures while writing a post they come in regular size and one can’t click on them to make them bigger. When I remember, I delete the normal_ part from the img tag and then they’re clickable.

Same here, once I realised the “normal_” bit was seriously messing with my pics.

This is the sidewall that has been damaged, on both wheels, and it looks like an external rip. So I think he drove too close to something like the end of a steel H beam.

Crank snapped and the recovery guy did this getting it onto their truck?
assuming rear tyre bit on the floor is f****d like the front, it looks whatever they hit, it caught the rear tyre a couple of times … so must have been a couple of feet long if tyre was rolling.
and sharp at the height the rim would have been at AND halfway closer to the floor.
