Hey guys
Kinda getting confused here
In the accessories price list it's got
Tow pack £510
Then later on in the booklet under carrying and towing it has
Towing electrics £103
Tow bar ball/jaw unit £162
Tow bar multi height £453
Tow bar quick release £506
The car I'm interested in the dealer quoted over 1k for toward/electrics.....
So whats all the differences - I just presumed tow pack ment everything...
Any help for a confused tow person lol

I've paid £510 for factory fitted towbar as per your list - I'm assuming it all comes fitted and working
Are the other prices dealer fit?

The factory fit Towpack @£510 includes the detachable tow ball and electrics, all ready to go. The wiring will be correctly set up for running your caravan fridge and charging its battery.
I went for the 13 pin socket cos that's what's on my caravan. You can get a neat 13 to 7 pin converter for about a fiver if you want to pull a trailer equipped with just 7N wiring, for example

As above the pack is just for the detachable one.
The Multi-height one is for people who tow a decent amount as per LR's bulletin i read somewhere on here, they don't recommend the detachable for anything but light duties now... FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

I went for the detachable one cos I didn't want to risk rapping me shins on the tow ball when pottering about in the back of the car - I forgot the split tailgate would prevent this. MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand
