What code reader are you using?
Is it a Nanocom?

Yes I'm using a Nanocom Evo.
Which of the modules is the PCM (powertrain control module), is it separate to the modules that I read the VIN numbers from?
I'm not aware that it's been changed

I think my ECU has been reprogrammed.
As read from the ECU:
HARDWARE NUMBER:8H2Q-12B684-AA
SERIAL NUMBER:886645841
SOFTWARE NUMBER:8H2Q-14C204-AB
CALIBRATION DATA 2:N.A
VIN NUMBER:SALLAAA139A499211
ASSEMBLY CORE NO:N.A
ASSEMBLY PART NO:FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
DELIVERY ASSEMBLY NO:NNW508500
SOFTWARE NUMBER 2:N.A
BOOT SOFTWARE ID:LP141I
ACTIVE NETWORK CONF:N.A
CALIBRATION PART NO:8H22-12K532-MD
The assembly part number is missing, it should be 8H22-12A650-MC
And the software is for the successor hardware revision.
I wonder if during the EGR removal, the later revision of software was used and this is causing the issue?
What would happen if I flashed the ECU with the correct software?
Presumably the EGR delete software patch would be lost and this would cause the engine management light to come on.
