Can’t see a lot on this, but it was in the list of faults when I first got the car, at 67222miles, Cleared it and it’s reappeared at 67407 miles and about 3 weeks later.

Haven’t noticed any issues with the car and no warnings on the dash, but that doesn’t look good?

Can’t see a lot of info here on this error though.

Anyone any ideas?

This from the workshop manual ...
Hardwired park and transmission control switch position display signals are not consistent

Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the park signal circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit,
high resistance.
Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, check the transmission control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index.

Thing is, there aren’t any other related dtc’s I can see, and the pin point tests details no advice for the ‘signal plausibility failure’ variant of this error.

Basically, I have 7 weeks of dealer warranty left to figure out if something needs replaced!

Why do you need to figure it out, if it has warranty take it back to them and say fix please

Because I haven’t found anything wrong!

I’ve got this error, but can’t actually find anything amis with the actual operation of the car in any way

Unlike other variants of this error, there aren’t any problems with ‘transmission failure’ or limp mode, or the car not starting unless the lights are switched on

So wanted to see if others had experience of this, and what it led to?

If that makes sense

It appears from your description not to be a serious fault just yet, but has the definite potential to spoil a journey!

DTC's like this can often be something simple like a hand brake switch is on its way out. Some carry a spare switch for that "just in case" scenario should it occur.

A bit like the brake pedal switch which many of us also carry Rolling Eyes

Both are cheap if you want to take a punt, and are about 5 mins each to fit. It could of course be signs of something bigger coming down the road. I would suggest in the absence of more defined DTC's its at worst a poor connection, which if so will make it presence known soon enough.

Though perhaps sadly not in time for you to experience the benefit of your elapsing warranty Big Cry

Ahhhhh ..... the joys of the brake peddle switch.

You’ve reminded me that I must get one.

But, hand brake switch is a new one to me. Could that cause this kind of error?

Thought the error was related to the auto box not syncing with shifter position, or some such.

But, if it can it might explain the other error

bought a 2006 LR3 with PO81C

Hi guys, new to this group but not to Discos.
I've own a '95 and still own a '99 and just bought a '06 LR3 SE V8.
I bought it with a PO81C and the previous owner took it to his shop and they "performed an electrical inspection and found mechatronic conductor plate faulty, advice customer to replace valve body assembly"
After looking around the weds and this group I find nothing that the PO81C and the valve body assembly are related, or is it?
