Same sort of problem, long beep, flashing light, not working. Started on the investigations today. Screen reports front PDC fault. Have done the creeping around to hear faint clicks - none! ( could be the ears tho). I would like to disconnect the front sensors to see if the rears then work. The connector is behind the drivers side headlight (2i think one must be fog lights). Any idea how you get the electrical connector to release? Crying or Very sad

Martin, Pete! very helpful!!! Thanks. I will feel for the vibrations! I know the hearing is duff - dive watch howls at me to no avail these days but so far have remembered to head to surface!!

All this ign on, in reverse, park brake off, listen AND feel.....does it apply to an auto?

I've got a different problem, but same symptoms. All 8 sensors 'tick' when in the appropriate gear, but system is still showing a fault. Presumably there is something amiss with control unit?

Hi all,

I seem to have some of the same problem.
Put it in reverse, flashing light, no sound...

On the other hand, the amp on underneath the front RHS seat is missing.

Does the amp has to be in to have the PDC working ?

Probably the speaker in the rear left side failed.

It should measure 50R

Nothing to do with amp

Thanks for the very quick answer, PeteK.

I will have to look for this speaker. Is it the one on the rear door or another one in the cargo area?

Where do you get all this information?
I understood there is no Rave for the D3. And the technical doc is quite thin compared to a Rave...

OK. Thanks for the info. I will check in the cargo area for this speaker.

FYI, the "Rave" is the technical reference document pack for Land Rover vehicules. I also have a Land 90 (1985), a L322 & I used to have 2x P38.
All technical documentation for these vehicles is in the "Rave".

Unfortunately, I understood that the D3 is not covered.
