Passenger door

Evening all, I’ve got an issue with the front passenger door on my disco3

Keeps saying it’s open when it’s closed, interior lights stay on till I turn them off, alarm sounds when you lock it.

Any ideas?

Similar issues happened to anyone else

Cheers

Hi

I am having a similar problem to the one Norby raised in March - with passenger door showing as open even though it is closed.

You mentioned that you had an easy fix for this - could you let me know what it is / how to rectify.

Thanks

I ended up taking the door off it’s hinges, 2x bolts then lifts off with 2 people, disconnected the loom plug and it was green with corrosion.

Cleaned it up and put it back together working perfect, this was after I changed the door lock which is fine

Where's the plug? I have problems with the main speaker in the driver's door and I'm wondering if it's a dodgy connection in the loom
