Passenger side wet footwell - NO sunroof

Hi,

I know this topic has been done to death but I’m stumped.

So he passenger footwell is soaked to the point were the rear is damp also. Looking at the searches there is merit that it is the sunroof drain. However I’m in a pauper spec GS that doesn’t have a sunroof.

Has anyone without a sunroof had a similar experience and if so what was the fix?

Thanks in advance

Andy

Leaking scuttle panel. Bet you've got a wet pollen filter in the glove box!

On my previous MY12 D4 the heater box had gone. It was situated close to the battery/pollen filter. It had obviously been going on for sometime before I bought the vehicle secondhand as the passenger seat rails were rusting!!!! All of which were fixed under warranty.

Could also be your aircon venting onto the floor if it's not your scuttle panel. Wink

Could also be the door seal. Rolling Eyes

Or the roof weld under the trim. Big Cry

Ha ha cheers Narpy, you’re filling me with confidence!

So no wet pollen filter! Does that rule out the scuttle?

As in the outer A Pillar flashing?

Not had a screen done in ge 2 years I have had it. When I’ve checked the A pillar outer the top locator pins are snapped into the body. Surely that wouldn’t constitute all the water.

I’ve lifted the trim by the carpet and the Chanel where the wiring is route is full. Parked nose down the driveway to try and drain. Bloody nightmare!! Big Cry

When you say roof weld under the trim are you talking about the roof bar trim section?

Going to do my head in this one!

There's a weld under the trim that leaks, search the forum you'll find photos of where it is.
