Pedal spacing

Is it only me or do people have problems with the spacing of the brake pedal from the right-hand side of the footwell? When I take my foot off the accelerator I can catch the right-hand underside of the brake, and when moving back my foot often hits the plastic vertical of the footwell. It's as if the brake pedal should be further to the left. I dont have that big feet (size 9 or 10) but with wideish shoes there's not much space around the accelerator.

SWMBO blames my stupid placing of my foot when driving Laughing

I've got size 9 - 10 wide feet and I don't have any problems.

mmm... I've got Censored feet then...

I was hoping that someone would say 'ah yes that issue was identified in 2006 and there's a replacement cranked brake pedal as a fix'.

Nick,

You are not the only one, SWMBO and I both experience the problem when going from the accelerator to the brake pedal. I catch the side of my sole on the brake pedal often, its not a car to drive in sandals. Confused Shocked
