Once upon a time, well actually about the middle of this afternoon, there was a pensioner plodding his way to the Tesco store to the South of Newbury. Being a genial, polite sort of old git he oftens waves to people who drive by in their smart convertibles and 4 x 4's. This afternoon he sees a really smart Land Rover Discovery3, reasonably clean and shiny but with a number plate that said MUD. The old pensioner thought what a good number for a Land Rover. The rest of the number was xxxxx The pensioner knows that number MUD. That's Blue Meanie from north of Newbury. Who let he come this far South? Does not matter you were SPOTTED.

Hi T! sorry I didn't see you, I was on a mission to Argos, not thast good at seeing people out and about, were you near one of the roundabouts? and theeeeennn......???

Hi Blue Meanie,
I was between the two roundabouts near the road works, , which supposedly are going to improve access to Homebase, Argos and so on. Who knows? Must get this pie and pint in before too long otherwise Father Christams will want to come with us.
