Phone not fitted?

HI

I dont expect this has blue tooth

When I press the phone button it says "phone not fitted"

I dont have the phone button on my steering wheels - its 2004 HSE

and I dont have the phone holder in the cubby box.

my local junker has a 2006 D3 in bits and it does have the cubby box holder amnd the steering wheel phone button

my land rover manual doesnt cover this.

is there a sticky covering my options?

Do you have the red/green paddles fitted to the right of the steering wheel?

You'll need to add a Bluetooth module and a few other bits, switches etc.

It's best to add the later D4 module Thumbs Up

Can be bought as a kit from certain sponsors Thumbs Up

If its cheek your looking for (Sonny Jim), then see if this gets you going....reversing camera fitted into the hook up cover......+ and A1 Towing LR970 tow bar rustier than a ford fiesta.

Come to think of it D3's must be the most expensive rot boxes on the road, right now.

I think I paid more for mine as it had more rust! And my alloys are worse than on the D1 I scrapped last year! Infact the chassis on that D1 was awesome - no rot and made from girders. mind you the inner wings taught me how to weld!

D2 Chassis's are made from Cheese. so are the front wheel arches! I called mine the LEAK ROVER - because everything that could leak did leak. - loved the air suspension though and wheel bearings!

Mind you i veiwed 2013 D4 on 27K this year and chassis and bumber were already on thier way to rusty heaven.

MY 2003 Caravelle has less rust on it than a D4 10 years newer! And the same is true of my bmw 330CI

Cheeky enough now?

Who Can offer the D4 kit for Bluetooth.
I have a LR D3 from 2007 with voice command but no Bluetooth.
I have bought the after sale kit (VUB501151) by a mistake, but I have mounted the phone buttons in the steering.
Now I need a D4 kit to get the Bluetooth connection and phone working.

Honest by name, Honest by nature - that did make me chuckle.

Seriously, the rust protection on the chassis is pretty thin but I've personally not heard of any, irrespective of age, failing an MOT on chassis rust (preparing to be shot down)
