Phonocar 4/764 for Parrot

Hi. Searched forum about parrot connection in Discovery 3 HSE 05 but could not find if someone used this connector Phonocar 4/764 http://amzn.eu/hToJomR I have 6 disc changer and Harman Kardon 4 speaker. I got today this cable but no luck! all plugs fit as supposed but no power to Parrot mki9200. I will give another try tomorrow.

Sounds like you might be missing an ignition positive feed.

yeah that is not the correct lead for an HSE

The mute and sound out need to go to the smaller connector.

I guess you could remove the appropriate pins from the adaptor lead (using a straighened paperclip) and push them into the disco connector.

You will probably find the greens and purples aren't connecting to anything on the disco end so these pin leads can be robbed.

smaller connector (with the red and blue wires)

Pin

10 Mute
3 Audio In +
5 Audio In -

If you do the mute wire first, this will give you the warm feeling to continue.

Pick a pair of speaker/audio wires (from the middle of the connector(fronts)) white or greys in your link.
The pair of speaker wires that would be exiting the headunit area are the ones which need feeding into the rear of the disco headunit pins 3 & 5

Thanks for quick answer but I'm giving up with Parrott. No luck and winter is back again to Ireland. Too cold to seat in Disco for a few hours. Is there any cabel loom witch will fit easily? CT10LR02 - Land Rover Discovery, Range Rover Sport Parrot SOT T-Harness Adaptor Lead??

I did a bit of a research. And most adaptor cables
no longer seam available and if they were would be £50+

So wait till it warms up
