Picked my D3 up last Friday! |
|
Finally picked my 2007 D3 HSE up last Friday, but have been so busy at work not had a chance to come on here and express my joy at now having my D3, must say that i think its a huge improvment over my old D2 to live with even if it has only been a week! Ive done nearly 3k in it already both work and play, most of the time with it pulling a 3tonne digger and trailer, and its pulls it with ease! Been reading up on various bits and pieces and done the tips and tricks i have wanted so far, now to start modifying!
Have put a post up re fitting an a bar, will get my MTRs ready for the winter, would like a rear ladder, a winch when my wallet allows and also would be after some roof bars soon as well.
Only had one problem after a hards day work which was rectified by turning it off and on again, came up engine fault and accelerator sort of stuck down so had to slam it in neutral and turn it off, not sure if this is common, bit annoying but only done it once and hopefully won't do it again
Anyway i am really happy with it, i think its a brilliant car, and a brilliant workhorse, ive had many LRs and im hoping it will be reliable haha
I will put a picture up over the weekend 2011 D4 SDV6 Auto Commercial

Quote:accelerator sort of stuck down
I have had that a couple of times - you need to pull the accelerator back up with your foot.
I think it just need a bit of lubrication Duncan

If I'd known I was going to be so thirsty this morning I'd have drunk more beer last night.
