Playing i pod nano through kardon hi fi

What cable do i need to buy to play my i pod nano through my kardon hi fi thanks .

If you want a cable, then I reckon that this is probably the best. It has a small amplifier in it, so that you can better balance the output level to that of the CD/Radio. It's available from the apple store or other resellers - mine was under £25. You'll have to buy or supply a 3.5mm - 3.5mm lead, too.

If you choose another, get one with a dock connector, so that you can charge the ipod at the same time.

Since you have to plug the 3.5mm lead into the aux input socket on the back of the centre console, you'll probably want to plug it into the 12V socket beside it. If the trailing wires bother you, you can have fun plumbing it in properly like Woodman did (there's a sep thread here on 2nd Aux input with a few pics) or get your local ICE shop to do it.

Ultimatlely, I hope there's a better integration resolution next year - Harman Kardon are doing a plug in ipod controller for cars (screen and controller), so there's a chance they might do a proper version for their own kit in the Discos. Here's hoping.
