Plug in digital voltmeter

Appreciating that the condition of the battery is crucial on our vehicles, particularly as it can cause fault readings etc, I was wondering whether anyone has invested in a digital voltmeter that plugs into the power socket and then gives a read out.

Cyberdyne make one but I cannot find a UK distributor for the gauge.

Any ideas?

Owen

how about this one?

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?TabID=...oy=1m7#Faq

it's a selectable voltage charging/power unit for ipods etc but has a built in display that shows the voltage status as well as the desired output voltage

25 quid might be worth a punt if that's what you're after?

edit: I think it's made by Manson, manual here :

Why not simply bring the volts up on the display

In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
