Reading the bulletin its seems that the fault is present on ALL 2015MY cars but only creates the warning light DSC Shutdown etc symptoms if a Cubby Fridge has been fitted.
Therefore the fault is present on all cars and needs to be remedied.
Quote:
Every time the ignition is switched on, ABS software is designed to check the condition of the ABS and associated network to confirm it is free of defects. This is known as a ‘Good Check’. On Land Rover Discovery 2015 MY vehicles the ABS software, ‘Good Check’ function has not been correctly installed into the ABS software.

I think you are right but it only seems to manifest itself if the cubby is fitted due to the reporting delay. I will remove the "Only cubby box" statement from the title in any case. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Got the letter last week, and had the mod done yesterday. Took about 20 mins while I went for a walk, plus another 20 mins for a free wash & brush up. Also got the visual health check. Less than an hour altogether, and friendly helpful service.
All good!

Recall on my MY2015
My Feb-built DISCO HSE is going in tomorrow to Harwoods to have some side rubbing strips fitted (well, re-fitted, the first set weren't done right so it's time for set 2).
At the same time the dealer told me today they'd like 20-30 mins extra to complete a recall issue. It's needs a software update for - what I believe they said - was a Dynamic Stability Control issue. But it was a brief call and I could have mis-heard that last bit.
Either way, only had the car a month, so it must be a fairly fresh issue. Anyone know any more?747_JK

It might be the centre arm rest fridge and ABS/DSC issue that has been on the forum before?

Had P062 done yesterday.
No armrest fridge but told software update needed anyway.
2 hour turn round - but included a wash.
Both trip recorders zero'd.
Clock 20 mins slow.
See you home headlight timing turned off.
And I must presume that they used a lot of battery power?
Until now my stop/start has cut in & out at nearly every junction.
Since it has not cut in at all - will have to wait & see.

If you peeps feel the stress is too much to take I'll swap you for my old beat up 06MY S, complete with cooler box.
Now form an orderly line, those with unpainted (white) ones at the back.

Well, love reviving old threads, just got a letter from land rover today about this recall, have not got any of the symptoms mentioned on here though, but it can still go in, any excuse to have a look around the dealers, but hell are they slow over here to inform us of a problem looking at when the thread was first posted.2015 D4 HSE LUX Kaikoura Stone(sold)

DG - Big thanks for this.
This explains yet another problem with my HSE Lux - in fact, I took to turning off the fridge with the switch under the lid, along with other systems and things seemed to get better with regards to warnings and fault codes.
I've received no letter but will call the dealer, as this may also be the cause to the other compounded problems that I have experienced with this disgraceful car.
Thanks again - shows the power of a forum - I joined only this week to try and shed light on problems that the dealer couldn't solve.
I won't keep this car but hopefully, I'll get it fixed for the next owner.
Cheers
