All done, step by step pics of the trim replacement. Looks great and not really any skill required to do. Many thanks Nick, hope the pics help the forum. Thumbs Up

I do, just looking at the invoice.

LFAE501940 - L/H Vent trim
LFAE502210 - R/H Vent trim
LLR010248 - H Trim

and all models need to replace switch assembly as my pics in gallery to a Range Rover switch assembly. Dont worry about colour as its identical to one removed, however different spec Discos have different spec switches.

LYUL500570WUX - Switch assembly (perfect match for Disco 3 HSE)

Hope this helps, cheapest by far, and a stockist in Nick at Landrover Yeovil ( forum member - THE LARGE ONE), just pm him for delivery.

Its worth doing as it lifts the interior from drab to top class Thumbs Up

Hi Nick (TLO),

Following my pm, "Yes please"

Please put me on your list for a set of 08 straight grain wood trims (walnut?) That's the silver toped H trim, L&R side pieces and square switch panel for an HSE.

Thanks, and thanks also for all your support on here.

Thumbs Up

Ok, I hope I can help. On the old trim there are I think 4-6 metal clips. The lower two are roughly in line with the heater controls. What I did was grip the H trim where the ash tray is, thumbs on the inside, fingers around the edge and slowly with even pressure pull towards you.

It can only be done this way because the vent part of the trim hooks under the dash and needs to be levered out from bottom. Dont wrry if clips break, new trim has them fitted, but I dont think they will break.

HOPE IT HELPS Thumbs Up
