| Preventing boot lock seizing |

Hello,
I've read a few time on here about the boot lock seizing. Is there somewhere to oil it to prevent it seizing - in a similar way to the D1/D2 where you could pull off the badge and oil inside?).
Mine's not seized, but the reason I ask is that with my large dog cage in the boot, if the boot seized I'd never be able to get my dog out as the box takes up the full boot space, and even pulling the seat forwards over the folded down 2nd row seats still wouldn't solve it.
