I have two sets of personalised plates - AUS11 and AUS13. I went with the AUS11 plates for the D3 although in retrospect AUSSIE 3 (AUS13) would have been a more obvious choice.

There was a car in California that has 10SNE1 (tennis, anyone?)

* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

That link leads to "101 things you didn't know about number plates" (actually 20, but who's counting?). No 1 is about Reg: A1. This used to (and may still) belong to Dunlop. I used to work for BTR, who at the time owned Dunlop, and I seem to remember A1 was on a very unremarkable Rover 800, I think driven by the FD.

Nothing to do with Discos, but........
