Problems after TSB LTB00042 - Reverse Mirror drift?

On Friday my D3 went in for the warranty work for the drifting reverse mirror issue (See here)

I've not yet covered enough miles to see if the drift has been fixed, however I have noticed that I can no longer set the reversing dipped position.

With the engine on (or off but at pos 2) I put the car into reverse, set the prefered position of the mirrors, and hit the set button and the memory position(1 in this case) on the seat to store the new settings.
The commnd centre window then says something along the lines of "reverse dip settings stored".

Are they hell as like. Every time you subsequently go into reverse they revert to their original default reverse dip setting, so I have to manually move them every time I go into reverse. Yeah, I know, serves me right for whinging about the drift in the first place.

Is it just me, or has someone else who's had this warranty work applied got the same issue?

Thanks!

Have you stored your seat settings first? with a new seat memory module it comes 'blank' - even if you adjust your seat you need to memorise it for the other functions to be stored Wink

TFC, perfect timing !

How the f Censored k do you store,

Tried: key in P1, press mem, adjust, then pressed button 1 no joy.

Also how to activate the dipping reverse mirror function.

Yes I have a manual but it's in French and I'm about as fluent as Basel Fawlty in the "Germans" episode.

Sorry for obvious and stupid Q's

have a look at the manuals on www.ownerinfo.landrover.com

Otherwise.... adjust the seat & mirrors ( for 'normal' driving) then press 'MEM' and the relevant position mumber within 20 seconds of each other - to set the dip memory, first enable it in the settings menu (using the i button on the end of the indicator stalk) then with the ignition on and the gear selector in reverse, position the mirrors to suit.... again, press MEM then the relevant position number to store.... Wink

Just tried the "quick" press of the "I" stork with blank blank screen, vehicle stationary etc and can't seem to access "Settings" mode.

Probably me, but...........

Is there something I'm missing ?

Thanks TFC, you were as ever right ! Bow down

Although I had already set seat memory 1, I hadn't set 2 or 3. Once I'd set these too it actually stored the reverse position when it said so. Weird, but now working - Thanks!
