Martin's updated the profile sheet so that we can add 'Skype' contact information as required. This got me thinking...
Should we be using Profile fields to record some of the more basic stuff about our cars as well as our contact information? I know that BN's herculean efforts gave us some good broad problems statistics, but it would be a braver man than me to suggest another poll with more than 10 member voting response expected.
Why not have a couple of fields to capture info like:
model
year
options
problems (contentious perhaps!)
used offroad?
Local dealer if happy to recommend (again perhaps contentious)

I was thinking of creating a "Disco Profile" with info about model, colour, trim, options etc etc. Not sure about putting problems/dealer feedback in the profile - the My Discovery 3 section can be used for that 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

One thing it would help with is being able to seperate D3 owners from D3 wishers from general LR users from any other 4x4 users etc.Jim

Wasn't trying to upset our leader
Just thought that it would help in providing the right answers to users questions and also help users to understand peoples suggestions based on their exact D3 status
Example: user has a D3 TDV6 S and raises a question, a TDV6 SE replies with' It does work fine on mine' but that doesn't help answer the question.
