Have you followed the manual ?
programmed within 1minute of engine off?

Doors closed; hazard lights on;

pressing both the LR button and the lock or unlock button ??

Programmable Button

Hey Discomad
I went do to the car and tried this and it worked!
But only when the hazzard light were turned on!

Shouldt it be working from ouside of the car without having to open the car
turn on the hazzard light, then raising or lowering it?

what`s the point then, I could as easly just start up the car and do this?

Nice to be able to do this in a parking lot or somewere I need it to be raised so other car doors hitt`s my hard parts...; )

Dealer advised me that it only works when the hazard lights are on, it's primarily intended to be used when hitching up a caravan or similar.

Correct. Hazard lights must be on. It's a safety related design. No accidental lowering or raising.

I think somebody should try to figure out if there's a trick to using the remote to turn on the fuel-burning heater. Try pushing the LR button and operating various heating controls at the same time to program it?
