Mine went on very easy. Car was in normal height. Loosened the hook mounting bolt by a few threads to give it wiggle room, hooked it up and then propped it up with a tall spray can to take the weight whilst threading the two other bolts (greased up).

Fits perfectly (I have Britcar tree sliders). Once the two bolts took the weight, I removed the hook bolt and greased that up as well. Could have done it before it was offered up to the chassis.

I did also greased up the guard surface as advised here.

Not had a chance to fit mine yet. Hopefully will get it done one evening this week or maybe a lunchtime at work Whistle Do you need to cut any bits of trim etc? or is it just take thr normal cover off and bolt this one on? I was planning on just off road height with an axle stand underneath to stop it self leveling onto my noggin Laughing

No trim cutting needed. You should be able to do it how you say, although I had some hole alignment issues which might have been down to me having it in Offroad height plus up on ramps at the front. Would have been a quick easy job if it wasn’t for alignment problem, probably needs a bit more effort to get it to line up 😜

I didn't read the instructions Embarassed but might be something about removing the corner (plastic) trim? The whole plastic sill was removed for the tree sliders. Also I don't even know if you have to drill through the plastic trim for the two bolts.

Normal compressor cover stays on.

I had enough room to do without axles stands, so was not even a 10 min job.

The corner plastic trim is just referring to unscrewing the two end Phillips head screws on the trim, the rest is clipped on. I don’t believe you should have any need for drilling just something to clean out the threads (tap) if you haven’t done already for the tree/rock sliders.

Fitted mine in 10 mins, I did have to cut the plastic trim, tried the guard on top and underneath and it just didn't sit right so I trimmed it round the guard.
Having said that I do have steps fitted so the trim isn't quite flush with the sill, also I've got an AMK Arnott compressor so no covers that was another reason for getting the guard at least there is something covering it

Finally got round to fitting mine at lunchtime. Have fitted it without cutting trim but I think it will sit better if the trim is cut. Will get a knife out when I get home and re-do it Rolling Eyes
