Prospeed Roof Rack - New Model???
Anyone trying to source a Prospeed Roof Rack? I spoke to them a few weeks back to order the rack and was advised it was no longer available as a new version is on the way, but no info, images or price point available.
No price worries me, it's obviously going to be more expensive, but no leadtimes is also fustrating
Anyone know anymore before I go elsewhere?

I spoke to them this morning, the new model should be available in June/July, price will be “competitive” but wouldn’t give too much away until they had the rest of the marketing/sales stuff available.
Put my name down on the waiting list so will see what comes of it

I wonder if they will go back to offering a simple floor option. That XRS system was very cool but a lot of users will simply want a 'floor' with attachment points, the dozens of mounting bosses seemed to be a very expensive complication to me (for a lot of users)D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

I bought my rack with the intention of buying a roof top tent but my plans have changed now so not really needed. I do wonder what the next version will be. I agree about all the mounting bosses, there's a lot of them and most people probably just want straight bars or a floor.

I’m hoping they go to a T slot system to give total flexibility on the options for accessories, but then again, I have no need or use for the rack other than mounting the roof tent
I went on the waiting list just after Christmas and was promised March, mid-April, end of April and then more lately end of June before I'd see the new rack. Although I like what Prospeed offer I couldn't delay my plans any longer and went ahead with Frontrunner. TBH, I regret delaying and love the FR rack 1978 Series 3 88 Military Green (Gone)

Cheers all, yesterdays update was them awaiting tooling, but I need to get one sorted, the loose June/July date is a pain.
I can't see it being under £1,500, it'll be nice, but that's rich.D3 TDV6 SE '06

Still think the Cargobear is the best looking one but its even spendier than the prospeed
For the price the outrack one looks to do everything needed and be super low profile05 D3 V8 HSE, LR Passion tree bars, wildbear compressor guard, LRP switch panel, ARB rear locker + compressor, Trigger 6 shooter electrical system

My intention had been to go Prospeed so already had some lights on the Prospeed bar. Once I added the FR rack & wind deflector it actually reduced the noise

Like your spotlights, what brand are they and where did you get them from?

Hi,
I also need a front wind deflector for when I have the roof tent onboard....Which one do you have ?? It looks a good setup. A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.
