PTI turns the radio on - a bit quirky?

Just getting to grips with my new D3 with PTI. If the radio is off and I place a call, it turns the radio on when I end the call.

Is it just on mine or does this happen to everyone?

Iceland 

It's a quirk - the head unit is required for both telephone and Radio/CD/Aux. Next time, just push the AUX button and it'll remain quiet after the call ends. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Mine started to do this. They replaced a module under warranty and now no longer does the radio come on when you finish the call, unless of course it was previously on.
