One observation: Over the last year i tried to listen to my iPod via a free FM frequency. What I learnt is that there is not a lot of them. Where I live we are bombarded by French, Swiss french and Swiss German FM channels but my guess the same would probably arise in the UK. Even if you found a free one with zero interference, you only need to drive 30miles away from home and your "free frequency" will become occupied by FM "a few miles up the road" that you didn't know existed.

I have given up on the concept.

How I love my new hardwire fitted ipod

Greetings!
