Questino about mudflaps

Hi,

I have a black Discovery 3 with a diesel engine. Whenever I drive on a wet surface, the exterior of the car on both sides and the rear gets dirty.

I am thinking of buying mudflaps from my Land Rover dealer.

Are they effective ? Do they make wind noise ?

Btw I have seen some modified versions of mudflaps for Disco 3, I am thinking of buying the ones that the dealer offers(the basic one).

Thanks.

As with any mud flap they help a bit but dont expect them to keep your car clean.

No wind noise Wink

It is worht it I think, even if they help a bit. Very Happy

If I go out on wet, exterior looks like I did offroad. A bit annoying really. Neutral

thanks for the info.

Lots of people have modified Defender mudflaps to give a bit more protection, here are mine.....

As long as you don't actually go off road, the Land Rover mud flaps are perfect.

(I don't think I should have to type that, should I?)

Mine also help to restrict the muck thrown up onto the front on the caravan. Thumbs Up
