| How quick can a wheel refurb take ? |
|
After getting a few gouges on my wheels in The Lakes last trip, I now need to get my wheels refurbed.
Trouble is, I now don't have a second set of wheels to use whilst they're being done!
So, can a wheel refurb [incl filling gouges] be done in one day with all wheels balanced & back on the D3? I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Laptab in Brum do a one day turnaround, but why dont you try one of the mobile guys that come to you and do it on your drive with the car on jacks.

IT COULD be done if you find the guys to work only for you that day !
will be at the bodyshop again tomorow and will ask if it can be done.
I have a second set of wheels i want to repaint too anyway

One of their franchise operations is based in Leeds near M1 - Garforth, they will by prearrangement do same day turnaround. It as these guys who I used to powdercoat my 18" rims black and they did a very professional job, better than the original finish IMHO, and I would highly reccomend them

as above, if your going to do it again dont bother, just buy another set to keep nice!
but they should be able to do it in a day
