we're quite happy with our little TDV6!
A colleague has had a TDV8 RRSport for a month now and it had to go into the dealer on Monday with 1800 miles, hardly any coolant left in it. Car is still in the dealers, they admit that there are problems with the TDV8 and they are getting him a FFRR loan car from Land Rover or LRA (Not sure) as they expect him to be without the V8 for a while. Their demo is off the road with the same problem.
Don't have that problem with the TDV6 do we
Seems that LR know who the important ones are so they're running it in with the RRS and FFRR before giving it to the D3 owners

There have been reported issues with coolant loss / use on the TDV8... and yes, those fine rich fellas make good beta test units for us in the long term

I found it quite rattley in comparison to the TDV6, which is far smoother IMHO. But christ can't the TDV8 shift 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Relativity is a funny old thing. I only get 12MPG as a rule. Managed 14 and a bit, once.

Yeah I'm using that and her indoors the GL.
Those figures were for the TDV8, haven't had any experience of the petrol V8.
