Radiator...Not Good!!
While stripping the front end off the car to fit the lamp guards this is what I was presented with, once removing the front grill.
Not too pretty. Looks like it's been in a farmyard for years. I was actually looking for a nest!!!
A quick hose off and it soon came up as right as rain...
Something I'll need to be aware of in the future, although the car had not obvious problems like overheating, but has felt a big sluggish lately.

Mine was like this after Salisbury, ran some water over it for a few minutes to clear. I am not a fan of blasting with pressure washers, it blows it further in and blocks it up properly.
On our LRE days, we were told to drape an old towel over the grille to stop this. It a bit of a pain having to remember to bring a towel along though. My gym towel got used at Tixover!

Yip, that's all I done. I remembered an earlier post about jet washers, so I run the hose over it.

A 'dyson' DC08 with flexible wand & brush attachement also works wonders 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
