Radio pulsing on and off

Have an issue with the Sat-Nav not displaying properly it just stays on LR logo, the radio pulses on and off and display says phone removed. After a few minutes it clears and all is okay. The fault is very intermittent, it's okay about 95% of the time. Dealer has had a look but couldn't fix, just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues before I go back to dealer? Thanks.

Mine does this often and doesn't clear................

If you wait foir the boooiing before starting it doesn't do it.

In my case it seems to caused by turning the key and starting the engine stright away. It resets if you stop and restart more slowly.......

As it resets I have never taken it to the dealer...

not terribly helpful I am afraid..... end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

did it again last night even after allowing time for it to settle down before starting...

now confused........and mildly annoyed with it!!!!

Help TFC, might need to educate a delaer it looks like

end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Thanks Spotter it's a strange one, the dealer said there was a fibre cable loop on which the sat-nav, blue tooth and stereo hang off, they thought by unplugging and plugging back in it might clear any dust etc which may have been present, although this approach hasn't made any difference so I might book it in again.

uh oh, mine is getting worse.

yesterday after the vehicle had spent the day parked in the sun it did it again and then this morning form cold the screen worked but flickered so much you can't really use it!!! Radio fine though.

Looks like a trip to the dealer......

end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
