Just spent the weekend 4wding around Narbethong (just north of Healesville, near the Murrindindi state forest).
Had a ball, but the rain had not really scratched the surface (as it were). One or two muddy ruts, but that was all. Still mostly dust.
Fingers crossed for follow-up rain before next weekend! Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.

Just had last night and thismorning 16 beautiful MM of rain,  runoff into dams
this now wil assure feed for winter, sick of feeding sheep and the cost  
Now to get the Disco realy dirty  Or at least try to as my dirt coloured  does not show the
dirt sow wil have to make it realy messey

We're going to level 5 on the Gold Coast which is funny because the dam is at 75 percent full and it was pouring with rain when I went to get the train this morning - got soaked getting from the car to the train and headed to work in Brisbane and there was not a cloud in the sky over Brisbane - they really need to get this watergrid thing working and build more the dams in places that actually get rain like the Gold Coast.
