Hi, Have any of you noticed that the rain water from the windscreen wipers is pushed around the front pillar and seems to swirl and gather on the drivers window right in the view of the wing mirror? (Only happens at speed) Trivial i know but it is a nuisance and am wondering if there is anything that can be done to stop this.

ISTR we had this discussion a while ago and Rainex was the unanimous solution then, I've done mine ever since - works a treat, the water just runs off instead of gathering there. Clive

I tend to use it just on all the side windows now, lasts for ages.
You can apply it to all the windows, very effective on the windscreen when first applied, the rain water just beads off and you can drive in heavy rain without using the wipers - until it starts to wear off due to dirt and road film which still need the use of wipers to shift, trouble is, I found once it does start to wear off, it tends to smear quite badly like a badly greasy screen, so I don't bother now.Clive

Yep... I had exactly the same on a current LR loan vehicle and had already come to the conclusion that I would Rain-X the side window when my vehicle arrives.
Frustrating that they have designed it that way... I suppose with it being a Land Rover, the thought of testing in a wind tunnel probably never seemed relevant...
