Rattle started today..
My partner drove our D3 back this evening, as she pulled up I could hear a rattling/tapping, appears to be coming from the front.
It's just had all belts done, new oil pump and idlers etc. Done all of 50 miles since.
I am hoping it's aux belt related..
Have a listen..
Any opinions would be great, the garage have advised don't drive until they've listened to it, but I'm hoping some of you D3 genius may be able to save me stressing.
Thank you in advance.

Has it lost any coolant? Possible water pump sheared off.

The video is poor after re listening you can only hear it at the end of the video for 5 seconds or so.

I'm pretty sure it hasn't but I will go and double check.

It's just a thought as I've heard of it happening post belt change. Sounds ok but the quality is not good.
Maybe try again with your phone on top of the front tyre?

The level is below the minimum line, however could this be down to the belt change, maybe not fully bled. It's probably a few 5 CM below.
Is it a case of replace the water pump if it was that? Or is there more to it?
Thanks for your input so far, I will attempt a better video.

No, if the water pump falls out, I'm pretty sure it loses all the coolant.

Updated video which shows rattle/tap better, also notice the slight humming/whirring noise.
One thing I noted was, when I went back out the noise had fully gone, I had to do 2 short drives round the block etc to get up to temp and in turn the noise returned.

Sounds ok to me. There is a slight whirring noise, could be aircon pump, but I'm not sure.

It's really odd as it sounded lovely before this, the only thing I will say is it disappears when revved, goes back to sounding smooth, then once revs drops the tapping comes back.
It probably doesn't help that the video isn't picking it up very well.
The silver pulley tensioner thing wobbles around quite a bit, is that normal?
Thanks for your comments guys, I really appreciate your input.

That's exactly how mine started.
It started off a light tapping type noise and then slowly got louder. Get it checked out sooner rather than later
^ if so, that was the Aux belt tensioner, wasn’t it?

Belt tensioner!- put a drop of oil on the swivel part of the tensioner without getting any on the belt, or water will do, if it stops or changes tuyne you've found it, temporary only
