Rear 12v socket question

Going to London tonight, and got a small 55w 12v fridge, for soft drinks and sandwiches. Packing car at 2pm, then back to work, and leaving straight at 4:30.

Haven't got the dual battery set up.
Is the socket likely to be permanent feed?

If it is permanent, will it cut out if battery runs down?

If not, how long will it stay on after car locked?

When we went camping a couple of weeks ago, left boot open for a couple of hours, and eventually had a message on the screen saying to start the car to charge the battery.

D4 XS, if that makes a difference.

England 2011 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 XS Auto Rimini RedDiscovery 4

On our MY11 XS the rear 12 volt socket only works when ignition is on - it will work for a couple of minutes after ''switch off' then cuts out. LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

it swiches off when the car goes to sleep, not right away when you turn the ignition off. If you open a door it switches back on. Thumbs Up
